Terms & Conditions are boring but important. We are fair players and an ethical business, but it is essential to specify what we mean by that. We are also very approachable, so any time you have any problems or issues, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to sort things out. Placing Orders

You agree that we can store your personal information such as your name, address, telephone number, email etc., and to use contact info such as email and telephone strictly for order-related issues. We will not use contact info for marketing purposes unless you have opted-in to our newsletter which we occasionally send out via email. All personal information is kept strictly PRIVATE and we NEVER sell or exchange customer information with other companies or individuals, nor with government organisations unless legally required to do so. Please note that we do NOT store card payment details. When you enter card payment information on our website, it is actually being entered directly into the Stripe payment gateway which means that nobody (not even us) has access to your full payment card details. This makes the online order process for our company extremely safe for you. For more information on our security, please visit www.healthy.co.uk/security.

Also, to order goods from us, either online or by telephone, you must be at least 18 years of age, and use credit card or payment information that you are authorized to use. You are also responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the details provided during the automated ordering process. (Don’t worry if you make a mistake, just let us know immediately so we can correct it.)

If you are paying by bank transfer, please ensure that the full invoice amount appears in our bank account. This means arranging with your bank to pay both the transfer and recipient fees. Orders that are not paid in full will not be sent out. (We will of course refund underpayments, although we will not cover any bank transfer fees or currency exchange costs with bank transfer refunds.)

We also reserve the right to cancel and refund orders, as per our refund policy below, without explanation.

Delivery Information

Please note that some of our Royal Mail deliveries are taking longer than usual due to ongoing strike action by Royal Mail. Please select the next day DHL service for the fastest domestic delivery times.

UK orders placed before 1pm on a business working-day (usually Monday to Friday) are generally sent out the same day. Those placed after 1pm, or orders placed on weekends or holidays, are generally sent out the next business working-day.

International orders received will usually be sent out within two business working-days. (See the Overseas Delivery section below.)

All orders are sent either by Royal Mail post (usually signed-for, special delivery or airmail international tracked and signed) or by a courier service, depending on value and destination. If you would like a faster delivery method than the one we would normally assign to your order size, please ring us to arrange for a more expedited delivery which will require an additional payment.

Delivery Surcharges

Occasionally, for overseas customers living in remote locations, or for overseas customers ordering heavy products, we may ask for a further delivery surcharge on top of what was automatically calculated and paid for during the checkout process. It is regrettable to do this but courier charges to such places can be very unpredictable and turn out much higher than expected. In such cases, if the surcharge makes the order too expensive for you, we will immediately offer you a full refund. Thank you for your understanding.

Overseas Delivery

There are so many different customs regulations in different countries around the world that we cannot guarantee that your order will get though. Some customers decide not to pay postage charges and so the order is returned to us. So please bear in mind that there will be customs charges before making an order from overseas. If you do not pay these charges and the order is returned to us, we will refund you for the products but not the shipping.

You are responsible for complying with any legislation or regulations governing the import of the goods you are ordering into the destination country and for the payment of any duties/taxes applied to them. Once your order reaches your country, we are not responsible or liable for customs delays, charges and confiscations. We do send overseas mail by insured services, so if it is officially declared lost by the carrier, or the shipment is returned to us, you will receive a refund. We do not give refunds for orders taking longer than expected to arrive as we have no control over customs and overseas mail operators. Only when the order is officially lost or it is returned to us will we give a refund.

Paying extra for an overseas courier service can smooth the importation process, but there are no guarantees with customs. If you are interested in having your order sent by courier, please ring us for a quote.

Please note that the customs of many Middle Eastern countries such as Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE have started blocking liquids. So if you are from one of these countries, we may have to cancel your order or ask you to arrange to pay extra for a courier service able to deliver liquids.

Returns and Refunds

If you have received an item or items that you did not order, or received items that were damaged or faulty, please let us know ASAP and return them to us within a 30-day period so we can send you the correct or replacement item/s. We will of course refund you the return postage in full. (You can also request a refund instead of replacement if you wish.)

If you have just changed your mind about an order (no problem!), please let us know ASAP and return any items you do not want within a 30-day period in a re-saleable condition (items must be unopened, seals intact and all packaging must remain in pristine re-saleable condition) for a full refund less the original postage and packing charge. Please make sure that you send items back securely packed and by an insured service, as we cannot refund items lost or damaged during the return transit. (On request, they will be sent back to you.)

For partial returns, volume, bundle and other special-offer discounts will not apply to product kept, unless goods are being returned because they faulty. Therefore, after the refund you will end up paying what you would have if you had bought only the items that you are keeping.

We issue refunds as soon as we receive return goods, although they may take up to a week to process through to customer's credit card.

Please note that refunds for international orders will not include the shipping for orders returned to us because of non-payment of customs charges or because products are not legal to import into your country. So please check, before placing international orders, whether the products you are ordering can be imported, and what customs charges are likely to be.

If you have paid by bank transfer, we will transfer the money back to you, although we will not cover any bank transfer fees or currency exchange costs.

Back Orders

If an item you ordered is not in stock and has been back-ordered, will will inform you immediately by email. You can cancel your order for a full refund if you do not wish to wait. We generally don’t like keeping someone’s money without sending out goods, so unless the products are definitely available shortly, we will look to refunding you and then informing you when products are available.

Please note that you will need a modern SSL encryption browser to use our 2048-bit encryption protected service. Browsers are free and you can chose from Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera or any other equivalent software.

Price and Payment

All prices on our website are quoted in £ Sterling (GBP).

The price of the goods is the price quoted on the website at the date the order is received and will include Value Added Tax (VAT) at 20% for EU countries: Austria (including Jungholtz and Mittelberg), Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus (Southern), Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France (including Monaco and Corsica), Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy (including Sardinia), Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal (including Madeira and the Azores), Spain (including the Balearic Islands Majorca, Ibiza & Menorca), Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Sweden and the United Kingdom (excluding the Channel Islands).

For all other countries outside the EU, VAT is automatically deducted.

If you are in the EU but outside the UK, and have a valid VAT number linked to the delivery address, we are can remove the VAT. Please ring through your order by telephone for this service. (We do a manual checks on EU VAT numbers to ensure we apply them correctly.)

By placing an order, you consent to payment being charged to your credit card account, as provided on the order form.

We reserve the right, without notice, to increase item and delivery prices. This is usually to reflect extra carriage costs. We will never, however, charge any extra money on a credit/debit card without first seeking your permission. If you do not wish to pay the extra carriage costs, we will refund you in full and cancel your order.

Special promotions are valid as long as stocks last.

Website Errors & Omissions

Very very occasionally product details and prices are entered incorrectly on this website. We reserve the right, without notice, to amend incorrect prices and to cancel orders (with full-refund) for orders made on those incorrect prices. (Usually we just let it go if our loss is not too great.) Any overpayments customers are found to make will be immediately refunded.

Also, product labels and packaging can change over time, so that occasionally we have an old picture of a product on the website until a new one is available. If the packaging is totally different, of course we will not use an old picture.

Reselling and international marketing

If you resell any of the products you buy from us, please check with us first before marketing them internationally. We have specific distribution rights for many of them which means that that we cannot supply them to customers marketing them internationally. This is especially relevant if you are reselling on a global mass-marketing platform such as Ebay, Amazon or similar sites. Also, please do not make any medical claims for our products as they are categorised as food supplements.

Queries and complaints

We aim to respond to e-mailed, faxed and written queries within 24-48 hours except weekends and Bank holidays. In respect of complaints, we will consider the nature of the complaint and contact you within 21 days of the complaint giving you the result of the enquiries and what we propose should be done. (Usually we respond in just a few days unless the complaint is complex and requires investigation.)

General

By placing an order, you are accepting that this sales transaction is to be governed by the law of England and Wales and subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts. None of the above affects your normal statutory rights.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
