Generally, if products are in stock, we send out new orders to UK addresses within 1 business day of receiving it. Lower cost orders are usually sent out via a Royal Mail second class signed-for service and will usually arrive within 2 to 4 days, whereas higher cost orders are sent out for next business day delivery, provided the order is received before 1 pm. If a product is not in stock or an order cannot be immediately fulfilled for any other reason, we will contact you.
For international orders, we need to wait a day for the credit card payment to settle, and then we send out immediately. So international orders are usually sent out within 1 or 2 business days.
You are responsible for complying with any legislation or regulations governing the import of the goods you are ordering into the destination country and for the payment of any duties/taxes applied to them. Once your order reaches your country, we are not responsible or liable for customs delays, charges and confiscations. We do send overseas mail by insured services, so if it is officially declared lost by the carrier, or the shipment is returned to us, you will receive a refund.
Paying extra for an overseas courier service can smooth the importation process, but there are no guarantees with customs. If you are interested in having your order sent by courier, please ring us for a quote.
The Really Healthy Company uses two main shipping methods for customer orders that are placed online:
We can also arrange a courier of your choice for deliveries to other countries if you want a faster service. This costs significantly more than the normal way we send items, and you will need to phone in your order to arrange for this service or we will need to charge you a delivery surcharge. (We will need to get a quote for your particular order which will depend on weight, dimensions, and destination.)
Please note that the customs of many Middle Eastern countries such as Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE have started blocking liquids. So if you are from one of these countries, we may have to cancel your order or ask you to arrange to pay extra for a courier service able to deliver liquids.
When you place an order online, the most cost effective shipping method is automatically selected and included in the fixed prices for delivery. You may be able to choose another delivery option depending upon your location and the order you have made. Occasionally, for customers living in remote locations around the world, we may ask for a further postal surcharge on top of what was automatically calculated and paid for during the checkout process. It is regrettable to do this but courier charges to such places can be very unpredictable and turn out much higher than expected. In such cases, if the surcharge makes the order too expensive for you, we will immediately offer you a full refund. Thank you for your understanding.
All orders are sent using some sort of tracking mechanism and require a signature on delivery. However, for overseas orders, tracking stops when the items leave the UK (although they still require a signature upon delivery).
Order Has Not Yet Arrived
We do our best to ensure efficient delivery to our customers however once goods leave our premises we cannot assume liability for shipping delays as we have no control over third party postal services, couriers, and customs. We, therefore, offer no guarantees for the speed of delivery. Obviously, if your order is confirmed lost, you will receive a replacement or a refund. However, a reasonable amount of time (that declared by the mail or courier company) must be given before an order is declared officially lost in transit.
That said, the majority of the UK orders we send out arrive within a few days; the majority of orders to Europe arrive within 3 working days to a week; and the majority of orders to the rest of the world arrive within about 7 – 14 working days.
If your order does not arrive within 10 days for UK delivery, two weeks for Europe and 3 weeks for the rest of the world, please inform us, quoting your order number in all correspondence. We can then investigate where your package has gone and sent you out another if it is lost.
