Micromax® is a uniquely crafted live microbial supplement produced through a biodynamic fermentation process using organic ingredients and wild Alpine herbs. Unlike conventional freeze-dried probiotics, Micromax® contains a naturally balanced community of approximately 80 different microorganisms, developed through a traditional fermentation method inspired by the work of Professor Teruo Higa. Directions: Adults should start with a half tablespoon twice a day 20 minutes before meals (total daily dose 15mL), in water or juice (with no added sugar). Never add to hot water. Children should take smaller amounts based on fraction of adult body weight. Do not exceed recommended dose.

The Microbiome
The microbiome is the collective term for the large and varied community of microorganisms that live in and on the human body. The gastrointestinal tract contains an especially diverse microbial population, made up of many different species living together in a complex ecosystem.
Interest in the intestinal microbiome has grown considerably as researchers have studied the relationships between microorganisms, diet and the environment within the digestive tract. The composition of the microbiome differs from person to person and can also change over time.
Fermented foods and microbial preparations have a long history of use in many cultures. Modern supplements containing microorganisms are produced in a number of different ways, including freeze drying and liquid fermentation. Micromax® is produced through a biodynamic fermentation process using organic fermentation ingredients, including a blend of wild Alpine herbs. The method was inspired by the work of Professor Teruo Higa and the concept of combining different aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms within a fermented culture.
The finished Micromax® culture contains approximately 80 different microorganisms, including lactic acid bacteria, yeasts and other accompanying microbial species. The microorganisms are developed together during fermentation rather than being separately freeze dried and blended afterwards.
The fermentation medium includes organic cane molasses, herbs, rice bran, maca, stone powder and halite crystal salt. The sugars are used by the microorganisms during fermentation, leaving the finished product very low in sugar. The result is a complex living liquid culture rather than a conventional powdered microbial supplement.
Micromax® is produced in Austria and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Each batch is laboratory tested, including testing for Shigatoxin-Geb 1 and 2 (EHEC).
Once opened, Micromax® should be refrigerated and consumed within 6 weeks.
