Prostectan has both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. It also contains BCM-95™ (Biocurcumax), a bioavailable form of curcumin (anti-inflammatory compound from the spice turmeric), as well as LinumLife, a concentrated form of flax seed, known to support healthy prostate function.
Prostectan ingredients
- BCM-95™ curcumin (600 mg, 516 mg curcuminoids): a turmeric extract that keeps the root’s own essential oils, which raises its absorption.
- Soy extract (399 mg): a source of soy isoflavones, plant compounds structurally related to the body’s own hormones.
- Linum Life® (360 mg, 72 mg lignans): a concentrated flaxseed extract standardised for lignans.
- Baikal skullcap (96 mg, 5:1): Scutellaria baicalensis, a root used in Chinese herbal tradition and rich in the flavonoid baicalin.
- Dyer’s woad (60 mg, 5:1): Isatis indigotica, another root from the Chinese tradition.
- Ginseng extract (50 mg, 7.5 mg ginsenosides): Panax ginseng, the classic adaptogenic root.
- Reishi (45 mg, 20:1): Ganoderma lucidum, the mushroom most used in Eastern herbal tradition.
- Saw palmetto (22 mg): Serenoa repens berry extract, standardised to 45% fatty acids.
- Rabdosia rubescens (18 mg, 20:1): a herb of the mint family used in Chinese tradition.
- Liquorice root (15 mg, 10%): Liquiritiae radix, included in small amount as a harmonising herb.
Medpro Prostectan is a professional product developed and tested by the Aeskulap AG clinic in Switzerland, and is one of the supplements of the Pfeifer Protocol used by practitioners.
Directions: Prostectan should be taken on an empty stomach at least two hours before or after eating a meal. As a general prostate supplement, take 1 tablet three times a day (3 a day in total) or as advised by your health practitioner.
