AlphaZomal® Vitamin B-Complex is a liposomal B vitamin complex formulated for enhanced absorption and utilisation. It provides all eight B vitamins, using active coenzyme forms for several key nutrients, with both folate and vitamin B12 supplied in their methylated forms.
Liposomal delivery encapsulates nutrients within phospholipid structures similar to the phospholipids found in cell membranes. This approach is used to improve nutrient delivery and bioavailability. Over 90% of the vitamin B complex in this supplement is in liposomal form. No heat, high pressure, solvents, freeze drying or spray drying are used in production. The phospholipids are extracted from non-GMO sunflower oil and RSPO-certified sustainable palm oil; the finished product contains the extracted phospholipids rather than sunflower or palm oil itself.
AlphaZomal Vitamin B-Complex contains:
- Vitamin B1 (Thiamine Diphosphate / Cocarboxylase): A coenzyme form of thiamine. Vitamin B1 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal functioning of the nervous system and normal function of the heart.
- Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin 5-Phosphate): An active, phosphorylated form of riboflavin. Vitamin B2 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, the maintenance of normal skin and vision, the protection of cells from oxidative stress and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
- Vitamin B3 (as NADH): NADH (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a naturally occurring coenzyme involved in cellular energy transfer.
- Vitamin B5 (Calcium Pantothenate): Pantothenic acid contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal mental performance, the normal synthesis and metabolism of steroid hormones, vitamin D and some neurotransmitters, and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
- Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal 5-Phosphate): P5P is the active coenzyme form of vitamin B6. Vitamin B6 contributes to normal psychological function, normal red blood cell formation, the normal function of the immune system, the regulation of hormonal activity and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

AlphaZomal® Vitamin B-Complex takes a different approach from many conventional high-dose B-complex formulas. It includes several B vitamins in active coenzyme forms, including pyridoxal 5-phosphate and riboflavin 5-phosphate, while folate and vitamin B12 are supplied in their methylated forms as methylfolate and methylcobalamin. These nutrients are combined with liposomal delivery to support efficient absorption. The emphasis is therefore on the form and delivery of the B vitamins rather than simply using very large amounts.
Two ingredients deserve a little explanation. NADH (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a naturally occurring coenzyme involved in cellular energy transfer and is included here as the source of vitamin B3 rather than ordinary niacin or nicotinamide. PABA (para-aminobenzoic acid) is a traditional companion to the B vitamins that was once counted among them and rounds out the complex. The bamboo leaf extract that makes up the bulk of the capsule acts as a carrier within the formulation and is naturally rich in silica.
The capsule may be opened and the contents stirred into food or a cold drink for anyone who prefers not to swallow capsules. The product is supplied in an amber glass jar to help protect the contents from light.
