Charities we Support
Like many businesses, The Really Healthy Company supports a variety of good causes. Although we are a small business we donate a significant portion of our profits to organisations that we believe make a big difference. (Last year, for example, we donated approximately 20% to 25% of profits.) We have donated to many different organisations over the years, but consistently support four.
The primary organisation we support is Creating Possibilities Nepal, a charity in Nepal that supports the education of underprivileged children and women, and works to stop labor and sexual exploitation. This organisation is very dear to us and we are privileged to help make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
Creating Possibilities Nepal – Child Education
CREATING POSSIBILITIES NEPAL is a charity set up in 2006 by a group of professionals (from diverse backgrounds such as the field of child rights, journalism, politics, social justice, and women’s activism) to establish an educational fund for underprivileged children and women in Nepal; to launch income generating programs for their parents; to help women and children improve their quality of leadership; and to initiate local, regional and international alliances to combat labor exploitation and sexual violation of children and women.
CP plans to achieve these goals by raising resources from within Nepal as well as from international charities and friends. We prepare women and children to recognize and maintain their rights by connecting them with social networks, who remind the government about its obligation towards women and children.
The Really Healthy Company has been supporting this charity now for a few years.

Shelter
If you believe everyone should have a home, you will share the vision of Shelter, the charity that works to alleviate the distress caused by homelessness and bad housing. They provide free, confidential advice to people with all kinds of housing problems through online information and face to face local services. Shelter tackles the root causes of arising situations by lobbying government and local authorities for new laws and policies, and more investment to improve the lives of the less fortunate. Their influential campaigns deliver their message to the media and the public, who are a great asset in the fight for solutions.
