By placing an order with us you are agreeing to the following:
Orders
Orders are usually dispatched the very next business working day that they are placed, and are sent via first Royal Mail post (signed-for, special delivery or airmail international) or a courier service, depending on value and destination. If you would like a faster delivery method than the one we would use, please ring us for details and extra costs.
To order goods through this website you must be at least 18 years of age, and use credit card or payment information that you are authorized to use. You are also responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the details provided during the automated ordering process.
We keep all personal information private, and NEVER pass on your details to other companies and individuals. We are fully compliant with Data Protection law. See our Privacy Statement on the right of this page. (Please note that your credit card details are NOT stored on our server but are entered directly into the the SAGE-Pay payment gateway. This way even we do not have access to your credit card number, making the whole process even safer.)
If any of our products are faulty, please inform us and then return them within 30 days of receiving them. Upon receipt of the goods and verification of the problem, we will offer you a full refund or a replacement, along with a refund for the carriage costs. Please ensure that returns are securely packaged and sent by an insured or signed for service as we cannot be responsible for returns that we do not receive.
Price and Payment
The price of the goods will be the price quoted on the website at the date the order is received and will include Value Added Tax and delivery in the United Kingdom unless specified otherwise. Prices are in (£) pound sterling,
By placing an order, you consent to payment being charged to your credit card account, as provided on the order form.
We reserve the right, without notice, to increase item and delivery prices. This is usually to reflect extra carriage costs and occasionally inflation. We will never, however, charge any extra money on a credit/debit card without seeking your permission. If you do not wish to pay the extra carriage costs, we will give you a full refund and cancel the order.
Refunds or Returns
If you change your mind about an order, please contact us first and then return, at your cost, any items within a 30-day period in a re-salable condition (items must be unopened and the packing must remain in pristine condition). Upon receipt of the returned re-salable goods, we will apply an immediate refund to the value of your order total less the original carriage cost and any volume purchase advantages. As we cannot be responsible for goods sent back to us that go missing in the post or that are damaged by the post and therefore not in re-saleable condition, we recommend that returned items be securely packaged and that you insure the return for loss or damage to the value of the items being returned.
For partial returns, volume discounts will not apply to product kept, unless goods are being returned because they faulty. Therefore, after the refund you will end up paying what you would have if you had bought only the items that you are keeping.
Delivery
We do our best to insure efficient delivery to our customers however once goods leave our office we cannot assume liability for shipping delays as we have no control over third party couriers and customs. We offer no guarantees for speed of order arrival. (Obviously if your order is confirmed lost, you will receive a full refund or replacement, depending upon your preference.)
Overseas Delivery
You will be responsible for complying with any legislation or regulation governing the import of the goods you are ordering into the country of destination and for the payment of any duties/taxes applied to them. Once your order reaches your country, we cannot accept liability for customs confiscations or other postal problems. (The only way to guarantee overseas delivery is to pay extra for an overseas courier service, but this can be quite costly. If you are interested, please ring us for a quote.)
Queries and complaints
We aim to respond to e-mailed, faxed and written queries within 24-48 hours except weekends and Bank holidays. In respect of complaints, we will consider the nature of the complaint and contact you within 21 days of the complaint giving you the result of the enquiries and what we propose should be done. (Usually we respond in just a few days unless the complaint is complex and requires investigation.)
General
By placing an order, you are accepting that this sales transaction is to be governed by the law of England and Wales and subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts. None of the above affects your normal statutory rights. Please note that you will need Netscape or Microsoft Explorer version 3 or greater – or an equivalent SSL encryption browser – to use this firewall protected service.
