Ecolane Active Serum for the face — a skin care product developed in Sweden — is so effective at helping to lift and firm tired and sagging skin that it is also known as the "natural face-lift serum".

How does it work? Ecolane Active Serum contains a unique phyto-complex called tricutancomplex which is a a combination of extracts from the tropical plant Centella asiatica, the herb Rosemary and the spice Curcumin. The first, Centella asiatica, is known to help with eczema, wound healing and other skin lesions because it can increase collagen connective tissue formation and improve skin strength and flexibility. The second extract is from Curcumin and is a powerful antioxidant to help prevent the free radical damage that leads to premature ageing of the skin. And the third extract, from Rosemary, contains triterpenoid, Ursolic acid and Oleanolic acid, which help collagen production. As well as this tricutancomplex ingredient, Ecolane also contains Dimethyl MEA, an increasingly popular ingredient in anti-aging products due to its firming, lifing and anti-inflammatory benefits, and Polyglycerin 6, a naturally derived moisturizer with extremely good skin penetrability.
As a result of these unique and active ingredients, Ecolane is able to work on all three layers of the skin. It contracts the keratinocytes (cells) on the skin surface (layer 1); it helps to strengthen the collagen and elastine fiber layer in the dermis (layer 2); and it helps to increase facial muscle contraction (layer 3).
Is is the last property of Ecolane Serum that makes it able to work so effectively. The tricutancomplex helps to stimulate the formation of Acetylcholine, which raises our natural production of neurotransmitters in the facial muscles, encouraging them to contract and tone up. As facial muscles are fixed to the skin and not to the bones — as muscles are in other parts of the body — the loss of facial muscle tone as we age (due to a natural decrease in neurotransmitter production) is a major factor in sagging skin. Directions: Apply Ecolane Active Serum on thoroughly cleanses skin once a day, preferably in the evening. For best effect, apply a thin layer on your face, neck and decolletage.
